MusicSphere is currently in the phase of identifying user requirements and analysing the needs of the community. At this stage of the project, our objective is to better understand the expectations, challenges, and real practices of professionals working with cultural, musical and sound heritage of historic pipe organs.

To achieve this, we are engaging with a range of key stakeholders, including:
- musical instrument makers and organ builders
- luthiers
- restoration and conservation professionals
- academics and researchers
- technology providers.
Their input is essential to ensure that the tools and solutions developed within MusicSphere are not only technically sound, but also relevant, usable, and aligned with real-world needs.
This questionnaire is part of this process. It focuses on gathering insights related to current workflows, existing challenges, and expectations regarding tools for digitisation, analysis, and preservation of this type of heritage.
By contributing to this phase, participants play an active role in shaping the development of user-oriented solutions, helping to bridge the gap between technological innovation and the practical realities of the cultural heritage sector.
Deadline: 10th May 2026.
