Four ECHOES Sister Projects will participate in the “XR for Cultural Heritage” Session which will take place during EuroXR 2026, in Valencia, Spain, from the 3rd to the 6th November 2026.
This session will bring together several ECHOES Sister Projects to showcase their work, exchange experiences and strengthen collaboration among European initiatives working at the intersection of eXtended Reality (XR), immersive technologies and Cultural Heritage.
The projects currently confirmed to participate are:
- MusicSphere
- EXCALIBUR
- UNICHE
- MNEME
The current programme consist of two dedicated sessions:
- Wednesday, 4th November 2026 (11:30–12:30): Pitch session focused on dissemination, networking and increasing the visibility of the participating projects within the XR community.
- Thursday, 5th November 2026 (15:00–16:30): Technical workshop dedicated to presenting ongoing developments, technologies, use cases and project results.
Participating projects will have the opportunity to present their work to an international XR audience, increase their visibility within the European XR ecosystem, exchange experiences with other European initiatives, and establish new connections with stakeholders from academia, industry and policy.
In addition to the XR for Cultural Heritage Session, EuroXR 2026 will also take place alongside two other European events:
- VWP Annual Forum 2026, on 2nd–3rd November, as a satellite event of EuroXR.
- NEM Summit 2026, on 3rd–4th November, co-located with EuroXR.
These events will bring together further European initiatives and stakeholders working across immersive technologies, virtual worlds, media, culture and creative industries.
