ECHOES invites Portuguese-speaking Cultural Heritage Institutions to participate in the webinar on the 16th June 2026.

The ECHOES – European Cloud for Heritage OpEn Science project is pleased to invite you to participate in a webinar aimed at cultural heritage professionals and museum institutions from Portuguese-speaking countries and regions. The event will take place on 16th June 2026, from 17:00 to 19:00 (WEST) via Zoom.

ICOM Webinar for Portuguese speaking CH Communities

ECHOES is a European Union-funded project that is developing the future European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage, a shared digital infrastructure designed to support the access, sharing, preservation and reuse of cultural heritage data and digital resources, while fostering research, innovation and international cooperation across the sector.

The webinar is organised by ICOM Portugal, a member of the ECHOES Consortium, in partnership with FSP and E.C.C.O., and seeks to promote dialogue and cooperation among cultural heritage professionals and institutions, contributing to the development of this European infrastructure.

The main objectives of the webinar are:

  1. To connect cultural heritage institutions across Portuguese-speaking regions within the framework of the ECHOES project;
  2. To establish links with non-European partners around Digital Commons for Cultural Heritage;
  3. To strengthen regional collaboration with the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage;
  4. To gather contributions, expectations and needs from regional stakeholders to support future integration into this infrastructure.

We warmly invite you to join this initiative and contribute to shaping the future of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage, ensuring that the perspectives, needs and experiences of Portuguese-speaking cultural heritage communities are represented in this process. O ECHOES é um projeto financiado pela União Europeia que está a desenvolver a futura Nuvem Europeia do Património Cultural, uma infraestrutura digital colaborativa destinada a apoiar o acesso, a partilha, a preservação e a reutilização de dados e recursos digitais do património cultural, promovendo a investigação, a inovação e a cooperação internacional neste setor.

A sessão é organizada pelo ICOM Portugal, membro do consórcio ECHOES, em parceria com FSP e E.C.C.O., e pretende promover o diálogo e a cooperação entre profissionais e instituições do património cultural, contribuindo para a construção desta infraestrutura europeia.

Os principais objetivos deste webinar são:

  1. Ligar as instituições de património cultural das regiões de língua portuguesa no âmbito do projeto ECHOES;
  2. Estabelecer ligações com parceiros não europeus em torno dos Bens Digitais Comuns para o Património Cultural;
  3. Reforçar a colaboração regional com a Nuvem Europeia do Património Cultural;
  4. Recolher contributos, expectativas e necessidades das partes interessadas para apoiar a futura integração nesta infraestrutura.
