ECHOES and ICOM Portugal hosted a highly successful webinar “ECHOES for Portuguese-speaking Communities” on Tuesday 16th June and would like to thank all participants for their presence, interest and contributions.
The high level of participation and the quality of the discussions demonstrated the growing interest of Portuguese-speaking heritage communities in following and contributing to the development of the future European Cultural Heritage Cloud. The dialogue established during the session helped identify expectations, needs and opportunities for collaboration, all of which are essential to ensure an active and representative engagement of these communities in this process.
This meeting marked an important first step in strengthening connections between professionals, institutions and heritage networks across different Portuguese-speaking countries and regions, fostering the exchange of experiences and the development of new partnerships around the digital transformation of the sector.
