The city of Tours, France, will host the 5th edition of the HeriTech Forum, the national event for heritage innovation, in partnership with the Centre-Val de Loire Region on May 6th and 7th. More than 400 stakeholders in heritage, culture, education, and tourism will come to discover and experiment with new approaches and perspectives on territorial storytelling through innovation. Two days to imagine roadmaps and uses of heritage innovation at the territorial level, as a lever for experience, attractiveness, and cultural and tourism innovation.
For its 5th edition, the HeriTech Forum is offering a new format:
- Two immersive, inspiring, and pleasant days of meetings, conferences, participatory roundtables, skill-building workshops, feedback sessions, and demonstrations focusing on digital technology and innovation for the cultural, educational, and tourism promotion of built, natural, intangible, and industrial heritage;
- One central theme: “Territorial storytelling through heritage innovation”;
- Project launching opportunities and customised solutions offered by professionals;
- International outreach through regional representatives, production studios, scientists, institutions, and experts from several countries;
- Pleasant lunches, a heritage evening, and a quality welcome offered by the Centre Val de Loire Region and the City of Tours, partners of the event.
For ECHOES, this event is a fantastic opportunity to reach out to territorial actors of the public and private sectors, and to imagine new strategies for the sustainability of the Cloud. ECHOES will be present on the Forum with an information stand, through participation in round tables and in a workshop on both days, organised by our WP11 colleagues.
