Last week, several ECHOES partners gathered at the Cyprus Institute – a partner of ECHOES – in Nicosia, Cyprus, for three days of meetings and a joint focus group on collaborative research scenarios.

Meeting participants
On Friday morning, ECHOES partners presented the project to an audience composed of DARIAH members, CyI researchers and the professionals invited to participate in the focus group.
The focus group took place on Friday afternoon and involved Cypriot cultural heritage professionals. The objective for ECHOES partners was to better understand their workflows as well as their current digital practices and needs as museum professionals working in a specific environment like Cyprus – an island with a strong involvement of private actors in cultural heritage.
The feedback from the focus group will contribute to the work of the three work packages (3,4 and 7) which aim to enhance integration and collaboration in building the Cultural Heritage Cloud community and to provide the necessary tools and data for use across the Cultural Heritage field.
