Collaborative On-cloud Lab for the conservation and digital restoration of ColOUred heritage collectionS

Building on the PERCEIVE project, COLOURS develops a cloud-based toolkit for the conservation and restoration of colored cultural heritage. By integrating AI-powered analysis, predictive simulations and collaborative hybrid spaces, the project provides professionals with advanced tools to preserve artefacts. It also enhances public engagement through immersive mixed reality experiences, growing a deeper appreciation of Europe’s vibrant heritage.

COLOURS aims to transform heritage restoration by placing colour at the centre of a digital framework. Our objectives are to:
1) Implement a hybrid collaborative environment for interdisciplinary decision-making.
2) Develop predictive technologies to simulate restoration outcomes.
