At the end of March the INP hosted a focus group organised by the ECHOES project, bringing together curators, art historians, and conservator-restorers. The event gathered heritage professionals and researchers from across Europe.

INP Focus Group for curators, art historians, conservators and restorers

The morning session was dedicated to presentations of the project, the Fondation des sciences du patrimoine, and the ESPADON project, which strongly informed the large-scale European consultation of heritage stakeholders conducted by ECHOES between February 2025 and May 2026.

In the afternoon, participants were divided into three groups to explore in greater depth the digital practices and needs specific to their professions. The day concluded with a presentation and discussion of the workshop outcomes.

The results of this focus group, which is one of several held across the wide domain of cultural heritage, will contribute to the ECHOES Consultation, shaping the development of the Cultural Heritage Cloud so that it meets the needs of all its end users.
