The NEMO annual Conference took place on the 26th -28th October at Horsens, Denmark with the theme “Who cares? Museums, well-being and resilience.”

ECHOES Booth at NEMO 2025
It was attended by 328 participants from 37 different countries, who explored how museums can foster health, wellbeing, and social resilience through meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and inspiring exchange over the three day event. I
ECHOES was present with a booth which attracted interest from several of the conference attendees. In particular, the second Cascading Grants Call was promoted in order to encourage NEMO members to apply for funding to promote engagement and collaboration, especially among the smaller CH organisations, with the Cultural Heritage Cloud.
The Network of European Museum Organisations (NEMO) was founded in 1992 as an independent network of national museum organisations representing the museum community of the Council of Europe member states. NEMO connects European museums and their national organisations, promotes European policies that help museums to fulfil their role as keepers of cultural heritage, and supports museums in their aim to learn through networking and cooperation. As such, NEMO is a key member of ECHOES with respect to the museum community.
