The ACQuA (Approches Computationnelles et Quantitatives en Archéologie) 2026 conference takes place on February the 9th and 10th, 2026. The event is the second national meeting of the French chapter of Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology, CAA-FR, where Xavier Rodier will present the ECHOES project.
The event will feature a variety of formats to encourage interaction, dialogue, and networking among archaeologists with an interest in computational and quantitative approaches. Various formats will be offered during the two days of the Meeting: two short sessions (early career researchers’ forum and “I’ve tested it for you!” forum), a poster session and a thematic session, and a round table on the uses of AI in archaeology and the humanities and social sciences.
Download the programme (en Français).
This year’s event will take place in Tours at the MSH Val de Loire.
