Last week, ECHOES partners attended the NEMO European Museum Conference entitled Human after all – Museums in the wake of AI in Vilnius (11th-13th October), Lithuania, and organised a workshop dedicated to Nordic and Baltic cultural heritage professionals on the 14th October. This session invited museum professionals, researchers and policy makers to present their national and regional landscapes, and explore new opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration in a complex political and technological context.

During the first half of the workshop, the audience was introduced to the ECHOES project and the Cloud, including detailed presentations of the community engagement activities by FSP and a demonstration of the Cloud’s features and infrastructure design by PCSS. The second half of the session was dedicated to a round table gathering museum professionals from Northen Europe. They were invited to present their national cultural and policy landscape and discuss how the Cloud could support better collaboration beyond national and regional frameworks.
