ECHOES and the Cultural Heritage Cloud were disseminated at two events in East Asia, attracting a high level of interest.

Andreas Georgopoulos presents ECHOES at CIPA 2025
Andreas Georgopoulos from the National University of Athens attended CIPA 30th International Symposium which took place in Seoul, South Korea from the 25th-29th August. The theme of the conference was Heritage Conservation from Bits: From Digital Documentation to Data-driven Heritage Conservation. Andreas gave a 20-minute presentation about ECHOES in the the opening session which was attended by 600 participants. In addition, he distributed 33 copies of the Archeomatica magazine containing a full-page advertisement for ECHOES. There was a high level of interest shown in the Cultural Heritage Cloud and in access to it by non-European participants.
CIPA was founded in 1968 by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) to promote the transfer of technology from the measurement sciences to the field of heritage documentation and recording. Since then, the biennial symposium has enabled this ever-growing community to meet, discuss, network, and stay informed. The organisation is now known as CIPA Heritage Documentation.

Grazia Tucci from ICOMOS visited Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan where she distributed 73 copies of the Archeomatica magazine. In addition, there have been nearly 20,000 online views of Archeomatica as of the 1st October 2025. Expo 2025 runs for 6 months, from mid-April to mid-October and acts as a forum to bring people, technology and ideas together for creating a better future for Japan and the wider community.
