Projects
Over the duration of ECHOES, we will be working with several projects who will provide tools, services and data to the ECCCH. Many of these projects will result from the cascading grants programme (1st call January 2025) along with those from other Horizon calls.
The first two projects have already started:
- AUTOMATA (AUTOMated enriched digitisation of Archaeological liThics and cerAmics) will develop low-cost and time-efficient means for the digitisation of archaeological objects (artefacts) using AI and robotic technologies to produce 3D models.
- TEXTaiLES (TEXTile digitisAtIon tooLs and mEthodS for cultural heritage) will develop advanced tools that address the entire digitization life cycle of textile objects, focusing on non-destructive methods. This will involve robotics and multi-sensors for digitization and state-of-the-art AI technologies to shed light on the intricate details of textiles.
