1. Can I join the ECHOES project by the Hop-On Facility ?

Unfortunately, ECHOES is not eligible for the Hop-On Facility.
ECHOES is classified as an ‘Innovation action’ under the Horizon Europe nomenclature, and the Hop-On Facility is only open to ‘Research & Innovation’ projects. Additionally, if a project already has partners in the ‘Widening’ countries, it may not be joined by other partners from these countries – ECHOES already has several ‘Widening’ members.

2. How can I join the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) through the Horizon Europe Calls for proposal?

The European Cloud for Cultural Heritage OpEn Science (ECHOES) was selected for the call HORIZON- CL2-2023-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01. Our main goal is to design and establish the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH).

Currently, there are five open calls that focus on the development of tools and methods using the cloud services of ECCCH:

Innovative tools for digitisation and analysis of dynamic processes, objects and complex combined data (HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01-01)
Innovative tools for documenting, interlinking and organising data (HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01-02)
Innovative tools for advanced data enrichment (HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01-03)
Innovative tools for high-value interactions with visitors and heritage objects (HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01-04)
Innovative tools for the study, conservation and restoration of heritage objects (HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01-05)

All the requirements for submitting a proposal are available on the official website.

The proposals must assure technical and coordination cooperations with ECHOES. In order to be properly acquainted with the overall vision of the project, consult the Objectives and Activities page. In the coming months we will provide general recommendations to support project proposals for the open calls.
